I responded to a request on FB for suggestions of unique gifts for \Mothers day by sending a link to my website. Rachael very kindly contacted me and asked if I could make two pears. Her Mum already has some wooden apples, and she thought a couple of pears would complement them. We discussed options, and she and her sister chose a dark pear, slightly smaller, with a light stem, and a pale pear with a dark stem. The smaller one is Sapele wood with an oak stalk. The larger one is sycamore with an African blackwood stalk. She says the result is wonderful, and they will be with her Mum in plenty of time for Mothers day.
I'm sure her Mum will enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them. Please feel free to email me if you would like to discuss a commission.
